What do I do?
As a doula and childbirth educator, my role is to provide your family with physical, emotional, and informational support on your journey through pregnancy and especially in labor and delivery and to empower YOU to make the decisions YOU think are best for your body and your baby.
-
As a doula and childbirth educator, my job is not to perform clinical procedures, make decisions for you, speak on your behalf, or force my own perspectives on you.
-
Please note that I will be on maternity leave and unavailable for doula support from July 1 until January 2025! I am available for childbirth education and registry consulting through September 1, 2024!

Baby Registry Consulting
One of the most common activities during pregnancy is coming up with a baby registry! But there are thousands and thousands of items to consider when putting together a registry. Heck, there are even lots of options to consider when you decide where to do your registry! Let me help you cut through the noise.
- Two one-hour sessions, either in person or via Zoom
- The first is a how-to with registry basics. We'll talk about where to put it together, what you need, what you don't, and lots of safety basics
- The second is reviewing the registry you've put together! I'll answer any lingering questions, look at what you have, identify what you may be missing, and make sure your registry is ready for launch
*After 16 hours, I will stay if I feel I am able to still be physically and emotionally present, but will incur a $25/hr charge. If I am not able to provide adequate physical and emotional support, my back-up will step in at $25/hr.
**If you are a Novant patient, I am "verified" by the Novant Health system and thereby do NOT count against their visitor restrictions and have access to spaces and supplies usually only frequented by nurses. I am also OR-trained, meaning that in most cases, I can accompany you to the operating room in the event of a Cesarean birth.
